International Union of Geological Sciences
Vision / Mission
The IUGS implements their values, vision and aims through Commissions, Task Groups and Initiatives on a broad range of geoscientific issues, overseeing the hosting of the quadrennial International Geological Congress and other meetings, supporting the activities of various affiliated geoscientific organizations, and representing geosciences on various international bodies such as the International Science Council.
