IUGS Vice President Maria Rose Petrizzo honoured as GSA 2025 James B. Thompson Jr. Distinguished International Lecturer

At the 2025 Geological Society of America Annual Meeting, GSA Connects 2025, from 19-22 October in San Antonio, Texas (USA), IUGS Vice President Prof. Maria Rose Petrizzo was awarded with the GSA James B. Thompson Jr. Distinguished International Lecturer Award for 2025. In recognition of this honour, she will deliver a series of seminars at various North America universities and research centres in the spring of 2026.
